Transmission Park Lock Module Data Sheet
InPower’s CIM Series Chassis Interface Modules provide a low cost and easy to install method of determining if the vehicle is in Park, and a method to lock the transmission in Park. These control functions are frequently required to ensure that the vehicle is stationary and locked before, for example, operating a lift, boom or outrigger. When operating the equipment, the CIM module is used to lock the transmission in Park. A plug and play harness is provided with the CIM module.
Model CIM-01
Chassis Supported - Ford E-Series and F-Series
Operation - The Park output is +12 volts @2 amps when the Ignition Switch is On AND the transmission is in Park. The Lock - input will lock the transmission in Park when a ground is applied. The Lock + input will lock the transmis¬sion in Park when +12 volts is applied.
Model CIM-02
Chassis Supported - Chevy and GMC GVans
