About Us

Since 1999, Off Road Engineering LLC has been designing and manufacturing automotive High Idle and Throttle Control Systems.

Launching its first product, the EHT 200 -- a device which functioned much like an 'off road cruise control' -- Off Road Engineering LLC began supplying a niche product for off road enthusiasts.

Beginning 2001, automobile manufacturers traded mechanical throttle cables for Electronic Throttle Control (a.k.a. drive-by-wire). In response to this technology, Off Road Engineering LLC introduced its popular H.I.C. series (U.S. Patent # 7013868). This series is designed specifically for industrial applications, and offers a variety of options making it a necessity for vehicles serving the following industries:
